Our Story
Monash Vale Early Learning Centre has been a leader in early childhood education and care for over 30 years. Our founder, Anna began her journey by completing a bridging course in Education after her nursing degree. After graduating from the University of Melbourne as an Early Childhood teacher, Anna worked for the Department of Education with assessment and rating for 15 years before opening Monash Vale Early Learning Centre in 1994 and, later, a second centre in Richmond in 2009.
Anna’s husband, Bill, has also been a part of the team since the beginning, working as the owner of a local fruit market and poultry shop, and supporting the service with administration. What truly sets us apart is our family-owned and operated model. Anna and Bill’s children Nick and Nicoletta are actively involved in the day-to-day operations of the centre.
We are proud of our long history of providing quality care and education. We understand that parents are the primary educators of their children, so we strive to build strong partnerships between our educators and families. Our centre is designed to promote learning in a fun and creative way, while also providing a sense of community. We provide a holistic approach to care and education, focusing on the physical, mental, emotional and social wellbeing of each child. We have two locations in Clayton and in Richmond and are proud to have our grandchildren attend the centre.
