Awards and Achievements

Our Awards:

• In 2018, Monash Vale Early Learning Centre was awarded the National Australian Winner for the Little Scientist Early Stem Award. This was for our child-led inquiry project on water harvesting. This showcased our implementation of inquiry-based learning for 3 to 5 years old and demonstrated the children’s independent ideas, investigation, discoveries and methodical approach.
• Monash Vale Early Learning Centre is recognised as a Little Scientist House. This identifies to our children, parents, peers and the wider community our service’s commitment to hands-on, inquiry-based STEM education. It is designed to recognise services and schools that promote an active learning environment, incorporating best practice elements such as inquiry-based learning, metacognition and co-construction.
